Young-award-winning Multidisciplinary international Architecture and Design which is firm established in Sardinia, Italy in 2020, MASK Architects has attended 10th International Civillistanbul Engineering and Architecture Conference for lecturing about “Sustainable Architecture Abroad and Construction Method Technology” at May 12, 2022 in Istanbul,Turkey.
Oznur Pinar CER and Danilo PETTA highlighted this through their speech at the conference :The main source of inspiration that we get while realizing our projects is the diversity of our own perspective, experience, challenge, ethnicity, cultural and educational background that we gain from our own timeline. We call it “ Our New Formula ” which is our main success and richness of our ideas and perspectives” said founders Turkish Design Architect OZNUR PINAR ÇER and Italian Luxury Industrial Designer Danilo PETTA founder’s of MASK Architects. They especially highlighted that : With this harmonizing of professional disciplines under one shelter, which as we call the “new formula”, we have been continuing to work together to create a more sustainable, environmentally friendly, ecological design way in our projects, while at the same time adapting the latest technological innovations for new sustainable construction methods to our own projects”.
During their speech they will mention their internationally renowned-award winning projects such as “Oasys+System” “the artificial breathing palm modular structure system” which has been one of ten winners of the ‘Cool Abu Dhabi Challenge ’, a global design competition between more than 1,570 participants from 67 countries. Oasys + System is designed for reducing the heat island effect addressed by the Global Crisis, Climate Change, and to create comfortable thermal outdoor conditions for residents of the Middle East for carrying out their routine daily life outdoors without feeling hot.
Another project mentioned Exosteel “Mother Nature” Modular Prefabricated Living Museum Houses. They have designed the world’s first steel 3D printed structure of modular houses for Nivola Museum’s visitors,Tourists and Artists in Orani, city of Sardinia. At this moment our studio is the first architecture and design studio in the world to use a steel 3D-printed “exoskeleton” construction system for modular prefabricated houses. “Madre Natura” is a sustainable development of modular systems Inspired by the work of “Costantino Nivola”, we have taken inspiration from the” La Madre” Sculpture. Situated near the Nivola Museum zone, their development is designed in a way to become a “living landmark”, in connection with the local heritage. This iconic project will be a new addition to the Orani social, exhibition and living areas.
